To be honest i know the RSPCA do quite a lot for animals obviously but any time i've contacted them about animals in need (dogs being kept in a car for days on end and being obviouly starving, baby birds and i mean tiny ones not fledglings falling out of nests etc) nothings been done about it, i dont think much of the RSPCA these days after seeing what state they've left some animals in, just my opinion.

Anyone who knows the way the RSPCA works (and this person claims they do) will know they are not helping a case by replying to messages on the internet, one has to ask why they need to justify themselves too- nuff said. 8)

There is no way on earth Cheryl would have made "partner" (I love saying that now ;D ) feel they couldn't ask her any questions face to face while she was there about any of her concerns :~D Bloomin eck ::) "partner" and "partners" partner ;D must be on a personal attack mission 98)

Hi Emma,

I do agree. When its been reported here about businesses not thinking of the animals and the RSPCA don't do anything about it it makes me think because money is involved they don't want to know. However when I've rung the RSPCA over Mrs Whiskertons (wild kitten) in the garden, an escaped Parrot, injured Pigeon, wild hedgehog and abandoned pregnant dog (she was gorgeous, just like Murphy on here) they have always come out. I've never had a problem that way. I just wish they would do more when it comes to businesses not doing enough.

I've thought about working for the RSPCA but I'd end up with a house like a zoo, I'm a sucker for all things with fur! :D

Working (volunteering!) for the RSPCA doesn't mean having a house like a zoo, it does mean that you will, slowly, change things for animals in your area. We could do with more ferret and rat people, but until they come along and volunteer we don't have the expert info to give out, it can only come from enthusiasts. You have to abide by the RSPCA rules to a certain extent but they can be gotten over and around ;)

Oh, and don't expect to join and start shouting the odds re guineas! Slowly slowly usually does it :) You see a lot of improvements that could be made but have to just do what you can ::)

Why has she came on and just posted about this O0 and never came back and posted again 98) 98)
She sounds dodgy if you ask me.

I agree its dodgy, you know you do a good job and care for your animals, i know its hurt you but remember what goes around come s around O0

Is she new to the forum? Because if she is its weird that she'd find this forum, find you on here, and post, then disapear ?

especially as this forum is a closed one! Whoooo spooky!

Thats Hallowen for you, all sorts of creepy things slither out from under rocks at this time of year :D

I really want to be an RSPCA inspector.

And i think that even thought you'd feel offended that someone has reported you for concerns. Be happy that the RSPCA knows what a good kind job you do. I always feel really proud when the vet tells me i'm doing a good job looking after my guinea pig Zakk and he has cost me hundreds in vet bills.
