annual vet trip

i took the day off work yesterday to take the animals to the vets.

i had to do it in two trips.

the first run was with Pudding my cat. Teddy and Muffin my boy pigs and Pickle and Ambrosia my girl pigs.

pudding has put on half a kilo in 6 months! so he is now on rations!
teddy and muffin are fine. i asked the vets about muffin's sperm rods and she had never heard of them before. so i tought the vet something!
ambrosia is now her perfect weight of 1kg and pickle has gone blind. she doesn't have cataracts the vet said it just looks like the retinas have stopped working.

on the second trip i took my other two cats Elmo and Bramble. bramble is fine and Elmo will need more surgery on her ears later this year. she will be 15 in august, but i think the surgery is unavoidable.

the bill came in at £179 which i was actually happy with because i thought it would be more!

and some how in between all of this i managed to clean the boat, make some cupcakes, cook dinner and do some cross stitch.

i am looking forward to going home tonight and doing nothing! |)

Well done you - all that work - I bet you can't wait to get back to your normal work

Still seems a lot of money but not much when you work out how much year round joy they give, whereas a holiday is over in quicksticks!

i did ask if i could have a loyalty discount on elmo's operation on account of the fact that i am there most months! but i was told i couldn't! p
