I got another great Guinea pig bargain - last week I came across those opaque grids on ebay at £5.99 for over 50, including the connectors, and the same size as the normal grids. The last ones I bought were smaller. They arrived today, so Bobby and Bailey now have a new cage (swapped a couple of grids from the other cage so that I had somewhere to hang the water bottle). I'm pretty happy with my afternoon's work!
