So Reggie the little devil is a prolific bar chewer. He chews when he is hungry, when he wants attention or sometime just for the heck of it! But the downside, other than making a racket, is he keeps breaking his top teeth. Thankfully only one at a time but this time it has snapped quite close to the gum, whereas before it’s only been halfway down. Is there anything I can give to strengthen his teeth supplement wise or should I take steps to board up the cage so he can’t chew? It never seems to bother him when he breaks a tooth (other than he can’t scoff his food as quickly!) but I’m worried one day it will splinter and do some damage!

I would recommend to cover the bars where he is chewing all the time. Alternatively (even though we normally do not recommend it), you can wipe the bars with vinegar to discourage him from gnawing.

Might give the vinegar a try, he climbs up the bars too with his front feet. Will it do him any harm if he licks vinegar from his feet?

No vinegar is harmless, hence why I have recommended it. If that doesn't do the trick; using a mechanical barrier may be the next step.
