Another extension, Saffy bonding and piggie lips

I didnt see the point in making 3 seperate threads, but i have three things to share. And pictures.

1. The piggies today have had a small extension, a little hay box with lots of hay racks in. I was getting tired of sweeping hay off the fleece. Although i still have one small rack for the babies to eat, who cant jump into the hay bit yet, theyre far too small.
2. Saffy (and babies - who have no names yet) are intergrating well into the herd. Theyve been living divided by grids for a week with no problems. My self lilac (Pickle) and Aby (Crumble) are being a bit moody and there is the odd bit of chasing and nipping going on, but nothing I'm too worried about, things should settle with time. The babies make a lot of noise when being chased, such drama queens. I'm hoping it will all work out ok.
3. Polo (my 4.5yr old boar) is getting better. Hes had nasal discharge for a while and hes had an xray and some different antibiotic, which i must add, taste disgusting, hes not impressed with taking it in the evenings. But the course is nearly done. Ive added a piccy of his lovely piggie lips.

Awww, your piggies are so lucky with their huge piggy palace! I also re-arranged today as there was so much hay in the vet bed! They now have one end with hay rack/toilet rolls/hay balls and just newspaper, hopefully it will keep the mess down as i can just lift out the newspaper everyday!

Glad the bonding is going well, the babies sound so cheeky and pleased to see you posted a pic of the himi x) drool

The cage and hay rack looks great. My pigs have those tunnels but they don't look like that they are half chewed within no time!

Mine tend to leave the tunnel alone (although a little bit chewed) they like to chew the log archway a lot.
