another first

just now as I was getting the washing in I heard crystal and fudge wheeking at me so I went over to chat to them, they have lately been quite responsive to me and very talkative.

I very carefully put my finger in to see if I could stroke crystals nose and normally when I try to touch any of them, they run off, well she let me brifely touch her nose - avoiding the teeths as she couldnt decide if I was edible of not she didnt run away but stayed there talking to me and letting me touch her nose for a little while before she had enough and fond something else to munch on.

I know it sounds silly but although she has taken food from my hands for ages, she never lets me touch her. I think this is proof that her skin problems are much better for a start and she is so much more comfortable around me, fudge and minty too who although I couldnt touch them and probably never will, they were both up the top and interacting back, minty for the first time yesterday actually gave me some piggie lips as I talked to her rather than run into the furthest corner and hide.

I so love my herd, they are just growing more and more every day, they are just a year or so old and not into cuddles, but for my "wild" pigs they really are special

and today not a fluke, crystal had a nose tickle again, fudge OMG let me touch her nose too without running around - I am so shocked that my wild herd are actually quite friendly.

Great news! I have quite a few members of the Tribe, who are not cuddlers but who like to touch their noses to my fingers.
