My 9 week old Piggies have been eating this mix since before I got them from the pet store (no RSPCA for miles around here unfortunately) It's from a local farm animal feed store in the Guinea Pig feed section. They absolutely love it but it's occured to me that I'm not really sure what it is and now I'm not sure if its suitable to feed them since I'm not sure of it's calcium content etc. It honestly just looks like some dried lawn grass with some chaffy bits and lucerne pellets chucked in (they just eat around the chaff and pellets). They are only just starting to nnibble a bit of hay and oxbow pellets so I'm afraid if i take the mix away from them they will be hungry and lose weight. They eat a variety of veg too but really fussy with fruit. Has anyone come across a mix like this before?IMG_4066.webp

It looks nice but I would try to wean them onto pellets and hay.
