Another is it safe question!

I went to Morrison's today and went a bit crazy at their fresh veg section. Of the many stuff I bought (My fridge is now full of vegetables and salad leaves), I got some bull's blood. Is this safe for the piggies.
I'm sure I've given them salad packs with this in it and they've eaten it fine but I just wanted to check before I give them a handful of it.

Virtually all lettuces are safe to eat; some varieties are very low in nutrients and high in nitrates. Please be aware that like carrots lettuces are high in vitamin A which builds up in the liver. We therefore recommend not to feed carrots and lettuces daily.
