George is poorly. We will be off to see the piggy savvy vet tomorrow. This vet is only at our local branch on a Saturday so had to wait to see her. George is 4 and 4 months, and has been slowing down considerably recently. He looked to be limping, so on advice from Debbie at TEAS I have been giving him vitamin C. He has had anal impaction before now, and when I checked him earlier this evening, he was a bit bunged up again. Cleared that for him. Weighed him and he is a bit skinnier than he used to be. He is eating ok, and drinking too, just seems to have slowed down and is not the boisterous George we are used to.
This year we have lost Pip, who had just been bonded with Bob. Then Debbie bonded Bob with Jessica and Jemima. Before the three of them came home to us, Jessica died suddenly. Bob and Jemima came home and were settled nicely, then Jemima died very unexpectedly. 3 deaths in a very short time is too many. I hope the vet can shed some light on what is up with George tomorrow.

Oh what a horrible time you have had. Hope you get some answers tomorrow for George.

I'm so sorry that you've been through such a heartbreaking time. Sending George lots of healing vibes and hopefully the vet will be able to shed some light as to what's going on.

Gosh I am so sorry :( I think I was part of the piggy train that brought Bob & Jemima home to you, I remember them.

Sorry to hear George is poorly, let us know how he gets on tomorrow

I hope George will be ok, please let us know how he gets on x

he is hoarse this morning, his wheeking was very bizarre when he came to say hello when I went out to see them. Appointment is at 11.30.

I've got baytril to try him on for now. His chest is clear. He has a sticky eye, but no sign of any specific infection. The vet was very thorough and thinks he is run down (?). Will see how he goes from there. He is still eating fine.
