We thought Rocket was fully recovered ( from his ear infection) but now there's loads of gunk in his ear and his head tilt is back today so we're off to see Vicki AGAIN this afternoon. Don't know how much more of this I can take :laluot_20::laluot_20::laluot_20:
Positive vibes please. Ta. x

Oh poor boy and poor you! Come on piggies, mummy needs a break, return some of the love.

Healing vibes for Rocket x

*hugs* and lots of wheeking vibes. x

Oh no! Lots of healing vibes for the little man! It's not possible he could have a foreign body in his ear like a piece of hay or something that could cause it is it?

Oh not again! I really hope he is okay. I really feel for you. Please contact me whenever you need to talk.

Massive hugs and lots of healing vibes his way, hope all goes well at the vets x x

Vicki had a good look more than once and hasn't seen anything. I would have thought that it would have worked it's way out along with the great big chunks of gunk if that was the case surely? They're not foul smelling though, just big and icky. :)>>>

Update

Thanks guys, you're so supportive, it really is appreciated.
Well, we've come home with another cornucopia of meds. Decided to give Septrin another go as this seemed to work last time but this time for a minimum of 4 weeks and added to that a 2 week course of Ciloxan drops ( one a day in his ear) and a daily dose of Metacam to bring down any inflammation. He seems fine in himself again( he was last time), still eating and rumblestrutting around Mouse. Let's hope this shifts it.

Keeping him in our thoughts, you've had a really tough time of late. I'm sure the meds will do the job, it sounds like you have a good knowledgeable vet. Healing vibes to Rocket, keep us updated *Big hugs* x

Oh poor baby is not going to like having to take all that medication. I really hope he is back to normal soon. Thank goodness it is not effecting his eating.

Well he certainly doesn't like the ear drops but he's fine with the Septrin and the Metacam. :)

Best of luck - and getting the ear drops into his painful ears!

Vicki can't see past the gunk whether the eardrum has burst or not but said if it had then the drops would annoy him. Whilst he doesn't like having his ears fiddled with AT ALL, he's fine once the drop is in so I'd hope that the drum's intact.

Aww poor little man. I know how that feels as I have had experience with that. I hope his ears are better soon.
