I have always struggled to find and effective way of cleaning water bottles. I was recently gifted some “bottle scrubbies”, they are small coarse plastic sponges with a ceramic bead inside to give them weight. There are many different ones available online but I have the ones by the brand “Kikkerland” and I find they work wonderfully!
I hope this can help someone else!:D

That sounds like a great bottle cleaner. I sometimes swap and soak them overnight in milton

I just had a look at them on Amazon. Do they fit inside the 300 ml bottles? They look huge in the photo and like I'd never get them out again!

The ones I have measure around 2-3 cm wide but will compress down to the size of the ceramic ball inside.

I use vinegar to clean my GP bottles, and they come out very clean. After cleaning, I rinse out the vinegar with water. It works well.
