Does any 1 know what the safest antimflamatory is that you can get over the counter thanks in advance
The metacam is important too though. Piggies are very good at hiding pain so even though they don't look too bad they can still be in significant amounts of pain. If we had kidney stones, a bladder infection or cystitis we'd all be knocking back the paracetemol or ibruprofen to cope with it or even something stronger so it's just the same for piggies. An anti-inflammatory doesn't just help with the pain but reduces swelling and inflammation which in turn make urinating easier and more comfortable. it gives the antibiotics, glucosamine or whatever a chance to work.Brilliant thank you i dont want keep her on metcam to be honest it isnt workin i dont want her stayin on baytrill as i think its killin all the good bacterior
