One of my guinea pigs has managed to scratch herself with a long nail which we’ve just cut. Can we use any sort of antiseptic like dettol to clean?

Hi!

You can get sterile saline solution from a pharmacy or make your own by boiling 1/2 pint/250 ml of water and then stirring in 2 teaspoons of salt. Apply once cooled.
