ants

hmmm is anyone else having problems with ants running in and all over their piggy runs? My parents moved my run further down the garden, and refuse to let me move it back, so it's going to have to stay put.

There seem to be lots of ants all crawling about up there, I'm worried about them getting on the piggies?

i think they would do if i didnt keep an eye on them. The thought makes my skin crawl grrrrr

Ewww, I get ants too. Whenever I find them, I feed them to the toad. It's a good system, I get rid of ants, and he gets a snack

lool good idea, however I have no toad to feed them to haha

you can buy ant stations from poundland these are really effective, the ants go in to the station get coated in poision and take it back to the queen & nest.
I use them in my shed as for the past two weeks the shed has been covered in them.
Just make sure it's near your piggy run/hutch but not where they can get to it.
