Anxiety strikes. Appointment I wish Id cancelled :/

I had accupuncture for my facial paralysis, it helped a bit I think. It cured my tennis elbow. I'm through the other side of the menopause now, although all the symptoms came back for months after the COVID vaccine. I'm finally getting ober that too!

How are you with needles? I had acupuncture when my hot sweats were just unbearable. It turned them off just like a tap for 4-6 months. When I was well into the menopause and the hot sweats were even worse, it took a couple of weeks to kick in. You can't feel the needles go in at all they are so tiny. It is quite expensive but sooooooooo worth.
Thanks for the tip 👍🏻

Hi again!

This has been so awesome to read. Thank you all! Now it’s been a few days and reading back on how I was feeling looks so foreign, but at the time it felt so real. Classic sign of anxiety for me!

Luckily Ive always been artistic and crafty, and learned to channel my anxiety into tedious (and fun!) arts and crafts. When I was a teenager it was beading, intricate woven bracelets and tiny detailed paintings. Now I knit, sew, and make things out of leather. All that, and then I do some “prepping” (except I'm not a crazy end times person) organizing our food stash, canning, and GARDENING! I'm obsessed with the allotments you guys have in the UK. My home garden isn’t too shabby and Ive been renting a plot at a local farm for extra growing space.

One of my good friends just experienced anxiety for the first time in her late 30s. It literally put her in the hospital. So I guess decades of experience is helpful.

She will sure appreciate a listening ear. My friend had her first panic attack in her late 30s and couldn't find the words to explain what had happened but she didn't need to because I understood only too well. When you come out the other end it's like being a different person sometimes! 💕
