any ways to make piggies be excited (well more) when it comes to veg. Also make them work for it?:hmm:

I used to have something like this,

index.php

Its made for hay but I used to put lettuce in it too. You hang it from the top of the cage. Also they make hay rollers like this, which again I'm sure would work fine with veggies. Its called Rollin' the Hay.

yes I have seen these but the top picture has hade many issues with. Sadly piggies got their head stuck in and had to be chopped out of it :(

Oh goodness, that's terrible! Maybe look in the bird aisle at a pet store and look at the toys, maybe their are some non-plastic ones that you can stick a little lettuce or veggies in but that piggies can't get caught it.

Yeah. Thanks, I have seen something where you use strung and pegs and peg them

If you cut a toilet tube up so you have lots of thin tubes you can then feed them into each other making a ball shape and put veggies in there :-)

I hide a few veggies around the cage.. On top of the little bridge and they always find it...

scattering them in some hay or hiding them around the cage, on top of hideys etc. i've seen people do a 'washing line' - use safe string and peg the veggies onto it. supervise of course so string doesn't become part of the meal :))

thanks so much! I might try a toilet tube today with their favourite veggies carrot! I would hide it next time maybe. The washing line might be done when it's a nice day and they are in their run.:)):):woot:
