I've just come back from visiting Rosie (she's staying in, probably for the best). She's not as 'perky' as I would like, she seems a bit depressed. Not surprising really after major surgery. I've taken her a goody bag of all her favourites to eat as well as 'rabbit' to keep her company. Now just an anxious night hoping the phone doesn't ring.

I have my fingers crossed. I know at times like these it's a long wait for morning to come :hug:
 
I do think that but given her age and what surgery she has had, if there are any complications she is already at the surgery plus she will be monitored and syringe fed throughout the night. Saying that though when my daughter phoned to mention something to the nurse, she said (the nurse) could hear Rosie munching on something. It will be a long night

Oh right enough I just read back shes 5 and a half x
 
I'm so pleased to hear she came through the op :) Fingers crossed she makes a good recovery now x

@Critter I have my other 2 piggies insured with Exotics Direct, I can't recommend them enough, I would have saved a fortune if I'd had Petal insured :)

Ahhhhhh that's a relief to know. A big hurdle is the drinking and eating, so I'm really glad she's doing that well. :) xx

I've just had the most awful thought. I've been giving Rosie additional vit c all through her bladder problems in the form of a crushed down tablet. Just had a look at the ingredients. Calcium carbonate. I'm giving her a dose of what I'm trying to cut out of her diet. I feel terrible :((
