Hi everyone :D

Came home from being out today to notice on my piggy has a wet looking patch near his grease gland, I decided to look at it and I have no idea what it is or what's going on with him
Can someone advise me on what to do and what it could be

It's made his fur stick together and it looks like it's all grungy and bleeding

Thanks

The first picture is before I brushed his fur up to take a picture

I could be a small cyst that has burst? Please disinfect with saline solution or hibiscrub. If you can get to a pharmacy at this hour, you can make your own saline by mixing 1-2 teaspoons of sold into 1 pint of boiled, cooled water and use that to gently dab the area.
If necessary see a vet tomorrow.

My piggy kept getting a messy bottom before a bladder infection. I was convinced there was an issue with her grease gland and a week or so later she started urinating blood, I would make a trip to the vet just incase.

Could be a cysts or an abcess of the grease gland- worth a check at the vets incase antibiotics are needed :-)

Thanks everyone he is fine now after being cleaned up by the vets :luv:
