Junior Guinea Pig
Hi, y’all!
Does anybody have any ideas for keeping the room the guineas space is in cool for them? I live in the US, and it’s been getting up to around or above 100 degrees where I live from lunch time to late afternoon. I have a window AC unit, two fans, an air filter, blackout curtains, insulated board in the doorways to the attic space upstairs, and any openings taped off with insulated tape in the room. My door is sealed during the day, with a towel blocking the crack at the bottom. I have been putting frozen water bottles wrapped in towels in their cage, and I’m checking their water bottles often. It’s still getting up to high seventies to eighties, and I’m out of ideas. It’s only going to get hotter in the next few months and I’m very worried because I’m out of the house for work a lot during the day.
