I found this in the girls bowl of water......... yes they do have a bottle also......this is a second option for them.
I"m a little concerned, i have checked their house thoroughly and them too.... i'm hoping it's come from somewhere but no idea :{

any thoughts please

Looks like a normal earthworm to me :{ but can understand why you'd be worried! Are they outdoors? It could have come from the greens or veg you gave them? Oddly our sandpit was full of rainwater today and I saw a worm just like this swimming in it! I wonder if a bird comes to drink and drops a worm into the water?

Earthworms seek out water...especially when it rains. If they are out doors... wormy simply wiggled in to get a drink

Glynis pigs are indoors.

It looks like a normal earthworm to me as well and it could have quite easily have fallen off some veg? Or have crawled in to the cage to find the water.

Was it alive or dead when you found it?

Try not to worry too much xx

I thought earth worm but it upset me finding it in their water bowl :)>>>

Earth worms are resoursefull ....they can find thier way indoors. I wouldnt worry unless * get heaps of them

Are the girls going outside at the moment? They could easily have brought it back in with them - my dogs do this all the time - then proceed to roll on them inbreeding

They can be carried under shoes, I brought one in the house once from my wellies (and they weren't muddy) and that was still wriggling . :))
