Any ideas?

Hi all. I gave my piggy a bath with some lice n easy shampoo from gorgeous guineas last night. As I was drying him I felt a little lump. As you can see on the photo, a little clump of hair came away with what I would describe as something squidgy attatched to it, similar to a mole. He’s receiving treatment for very stubborn mites at the moment having had Xeno 450, injected panamec and now an oral medication usually used on cows!

It looks like a scab to me. What’s the skin like underneath it?

It seemed fine, no bleeding or anything. The scab came away easily but he did complain a bit while I was searching for the lump.

Just monitor, but doubt it’s anything to worry about.

Thanks all. I had a feel about and I couldn’t feel any more. Will definitely keep an eye on him and hope these pesky mites do one once and for all!

Looks like a very small follicular cyst which has erupted. Agree nothing to worry about, just monitor.
