Any Ideas?

for the past couple of days my guinea pig coco has been sneezing now and again, shes completly fine in herself is not acting any differently..

then this morning i came down and she has a tiny little sore patch on the tip of her nose, she is still sneezing now and again and when she makes her squeaking noise every now and then it sounds wheezy...

If it does not improve shel be down the vets asap..

Just wondered if anyone else has experienced these things or maybe an idea as to what it could be?

She seems completly fine with herself any suggestions?

piggys are really good at hiding when something is wrong, my advise is get to the vets asap because it sounds like she might have a chest infection and need some baytril. it's always best to catch it early x

I agree that it could be the start of a chest infection. A course of anitbiotics from the vet should soon clear it up

I agree it could be a respiratory infection and you would need to see a vet. What is the sore on her nose like? Could be unrelated.

It looks like she has cut herself on the top of her nose-just a normal cut like if we got a cut lol, i rung the emergency vet and she said to put some sudocrem on until i get a app, it has a scab on i cant describe it any other way i just prey its not ringworm, the vet on the phone gave the impression that you cant normally get rid of it so they put the piggies down hoping it wont come to that xx
