Any Reassurance, Hovis Being Neutered In The Morning

He’ll be fine. And just think, in 6 weeks time he can move in with some lovely wife pigs

He's going to love having the ladies! Sending lots of good vibes for the little man today :D

The stink eye you get for the first couple of days but when he finally gets to strut his stuff with the ladies and have all that attention he will more than just forgive you

Dropped him off this morning, they sat him on the scales and he just sat sniffing them. Weighs in at 960g. He seemed unconcerned about the journey, but wasn't happy at the sounds of dogs barking and cats meowing, trying to bury himself in his fleece

He'll be fine. Don't worry. My two boys visited the plum fairy and were OK after. He'll be a bit woozy for 24 hours or so and a bit sore but otherwise he'll be OK. Just remember to keep him separated from your girlies for 6 weeks. I kept my boys separated from the girlies for 8 weeks as I was having no more surprises! They were the result of a surprise shop litter along with their sister.

I’m sure he will be fine. I had a boar neutered and he was miserable the first day home. Lots af cuddles and some mashed banana soon had him right as rain. 6 weeks later he was introduced to 2 girls and had a great time .
Hope all is well

Just got home, little guy came straight out of his shell as soon as he smelt the girls. He seems bright, i'm letting him spend some time on a fleece next to my bed with his favourite tunnel. I think he's realized they've gone, but is chatty and has already been licking my fingers. Gut stimulant tonight, to help his poops, that said he's weed and pooped already within 5 mins of being home..

Haha I remember Peter had such a human expression when he was done. It was definitely "she touched me in my special place and now they are gone" look. Sounds like you won't be needing the gut stimulants if he's pooping and weeing ok

He's such an easy going guinea pig, I have to keep pinching myself he's mine. I mean the jumping onto my lap at end of run out time, doesn't just come naturally to any guinea pig. He does it out of trust, and that's quite something for a rescue piggy. I've only had him 6 weeks, and he's turning into quite a character

ah,he will be so happy in six weeks.i have a piggy 8 months old that has a reputation for starting fights with other boars.i got him neutered in november, ive just placed him with two sows,he is pop corning all over the run ! he has been on his own for 3 months due to him causing injuries to all my other boars so had to go to the sugar plum fairy ! good luck.:)

He goes to groom himself and can't seem to work out why he has no man hood. The look on his face is priceless...

I should not laugh dear Hovis, but that made me giggle
