Hi all just wondering if anyone knows any good vets that are good at checking guinea pigs teeth. My oldest girl Fifi seams fine but have noticed when she chews she is pulling a wierd face when eating. Her weight is fine she is drinking and pooping normal too.Just wanted the back teeth checked just in case.I am near chichester area. Thanks for any help xx

Not familiar with any in your area, but recommend contacting your nearest piggy bank rescue http://www.lumpylodge.co.uk/3.html they are in Brighton perhaps they may know of one near to you. Maybe worth ringing round all the vets in local area, that is how we found our vet who does good dental work.

I can message a Facebook friend tomorrow to ask who she uses - she's in Worthing but travels about 30-40 minutes to her vets as he's an exotics vet - I know he was very good with her African Grey parrot and she's also got guinea pigs. He's a very good exotics vet but I can't think of the surgery name but will try to find out.

Just remembered its Seers Croft Horsham/Crawley way I think.

no idea if that's near to you though? I'm guessing its under an hour but my geography is not great!

They have several exotics vets - I can ask my friend for the guinea savvy ones?
