Anybody else with Organic Lawnmowers?

Awww so much lawn envy, my piggies mow through a tray of takeaway grass and clover in no time! I planted another 3 windowboxes yesterday though with grass, clover and coriander seed so give it a month and hopefully Piggle can steal my phone and call up some lawn takeaway food :)

I have had to ask my dad to grow me some grass for Pippin and Winny as ours gets cut too often by the other half :lol!:

I usually leave a space in the middle of our back lawn that doesn't get chemically treated or mown, the pigs' outdoor run goes there in summer. As it's usually me that mows it, I know to leave that patch alone :rtm:

The best thing about piggie lawnmowers is that they spread manure as they go - 2 in 1 lawn care practitioners! Totally timesaving :xd:

That was one of the reason why l first free ranged mine, but they all run back to their homes for toilet, not one does it outside. This is because they are prey animals, and don't want to be preyed on.

Yes! Hubby had to wait to yesterday evening to mow the lawn because I wanted the pigs out. I told him there were two patches he didn't need to do but he wasn't satisfied with the extent the pigs trimmed and said their work was "patchy" though "a good effort" :))

We leave a strip down the garden for the piggies too- but occasionally we have to bring in the machine as they mow unevenly and make little trackways!

Fresh new patch...they've got their work cut out a little here! 🤣

Sometimes they put themselves in their 'shed' to recharge between mowings...

Plus they do a fab job of fertilising!
