anyone else had this problem?

Hi everyone! Hope you are all well :-) I just wanted to talk about the hot topic of hay. I have never had a problem with hay from farms until now. It has brought in lice! so now I am completely put off because I just got in my head the image of mice running over it and weeing on it! So I think I will have to change have any of you had this problem? If so what hay did you change to? Bare in mind I have 16 beauties so I need alot of hay where ever I get it from. Thank you guys! Hay has been really poor of late. We are now using Dust Free Hay Company http://www.dustfreehay.co.uk/store/ Don't know how cost effective this would be with you as you have 16 of the furry bellys to feed

Thanks! It is really shocking I just can't get over the idea of my lovelies having lice! I feel like a terrible mum I have got them some alfalfa king Timothy hay for eating which is fine but I still need some cheaper stuff for there beds that does not have lice! Any thoughts? X x x x

i had little black bugs that i think came in on my hay, which i had been getting from a horse supplier. I just get it from somewhere else now, took me ages to get rid of the buggies! But i did, thanks to Pebble's advice!
