Anyone else have a "Guinea pig shelf"?😂

Today I had a few minutes of guinea pig cuddles and this is something that they would do at work too but anyway, my pigs LOVE sitting on my chest-y region (or as I now call it, my built in guinea pig shelf). So I had them on a nice fleecy lap pad, and they would not sit still, eventually I put them on my chest as I know they usually sit still, and straight away they're just there, munching a carrot and getting all comfy.

Anyone else have chest obsessed pigs? (also I'm happy about my scratch and defecation free handling session, praying my lucky streak continues!)

Yes I have a very effective guinea pig shelf, but they usually pee in my bra ours dont like ordinary laptime on a lap if there's a bust or a beer belly to sit on that's much more comfy!

They quite like to ride round the house that way, especially if there's a trip to the fridge for veggies

Honey is a shoulder pig, I'm not gifted with the "guinea pig shelf" so she makes do with a shoulder perch

There are advantages to being middle aged and well upholstered in the piggy shelf regions if you like to spend your free time with a piggy riding round near your face and keep your hands free, but shoulders are good too

Guinea pigs could like the chest-y region because it allows them to hear your heartbeat and that makes them feel comfortable and relaxed, safe. My Toffee likes the chest-y region.

My shelf isn't suitable for my piggies.. They wouldn't like me to be that comfortable..!
