I am just a lurker really, desperate for some piggies of my own, but we have a tiny little flat that is completely full already with the rats and hamster. I love seeing everyone's piggies but its making me want some so bad. I wish we had the space! :( I miss having piggies in my life, their chattering, wheeking to be fed, cuddly podgy-ness, their cute little feet, floppy little elephant ears x)
Anyone else here not have pigs right now?

I don't have piggies either. I had to rehome my little group a couple of years ago, and still miss having them around. Which is why I really enjoy sharing everyone else's so much.

*starts putting pigs into jiffy bags*

*runs off to the post office*

Maybe if I mailed mine out on loan, then I'd get a good nights sleep without WHEEK WHEEK WHEEEEEEEK randomly at 3am rolleyes

I like parcels from you :))

I don't have any piggies at the moment either, not through choice though :(

I've had 2 pairs of girlies over the last 11 years, & just lost my last baby aged 7, only a month ago 8...

So I get my piggie fix on here, although sometimes my heart feels like it is breaking still when I read other's stories about theirs & I think back on my own happy memories with mine.

Not sure where I am going next, I may find some more in the future, I miss her terribly & although I can't ever replace her I may be able to give lots of love & care to another pair some time hopefully :)

I have 13 little monsters. If you lived close I'd invite you round for a play ha ha! I also have a friend in a similar situation to you. She lives in rented accomodation, they won't allow any pets and there is no garden or yard for an outdoor hutch either. Although I know she really wants some piggies!

The only suggestion I can think of is you could volunteer some time at a rescue local to you? That way you'd be able to care for piggies without the space problems at home being an issue.

That's so sad - you'll know when the time is right and you won't be replacing her - you will be healing a desperate piggy's breaking heart and helping yourself in your grief x>> Time is a wonderful healer.

Thats what I did...only I kept taking animals home.... :x

sorry I'm selfish, i have two lovely fellas and they are all mine, HOWEVER, i can share some poopies with you girls x

:))

I have 12 piggies - and Sue G is honorary godmother to all of them!

Occasionally, I can lure her as far as the Midlands for a "furry" day out; otherwise she has to make do with a daily "piggy fix" from the Tribe. :))

This forum doesn't help me either! I have accumulated 6 more fur babies since the start of the year! I see everyones gorgeous pigs and then think 'oh I'd love one like that'. drool

Oooh yes, I think I need a "real" piggy fix soon, instead of a virtual one :))

I lost my Mr M a month and a half ago and was devasted, as was his cagemate Wallace so I had to get another friend for him before he wasted away regardless of how I was feeling. I still miss my furry boy terribly but having a youngster to take care of has helped keep me distracted ( so distracted in fact that I somehow managed to adopt two oldies 3 weeks later from the rescue where we did the boar-dating! ). They're all individuals and irreplaceable but sometimes it helps us to help other little pigges who need a forever home.
x

Wow I never imagined there would be people on here who do not have piggies! I only have a studio flat but have five piggies and a house bunny. I give them more room then me as they are so worth it. :)

I dont :0

I lost Rodney 4 weeks ago today....not that I'm counting :( Still heartbroken over it all and cant bring myself to get anymore yet.

I come on here because everyone is so lovely, and seeing the pigtures and hearing the stories is my therapy! lol.

I don't have any of these gorgeous creatures (although I wish I did).

Really sorry to hear about Rodney, hope you're okay :)
