Anyone else’s piggy sleep with their eyes closed? Pictures please!

You’re very lucky indeed! One of the boys (funnily the most skittish) now closes his eyes sometimes when sleeping in the cage. I don’t have them out for lap time so don’t know if he’d do it while being held.

Forgot that Fudge, the other boar, did it once loooong ago. It was less than a year after I’d had them. Can’t attach photos at the moment, something wrong with my phone recently 🥺

Blitzen never did it, but Comet did. Blitzen was nearly always in some sort of hyper-agitated state, he didn't "get" relaxing. Comet, on the other hand, would fall asleep on anyone and I'd frequently catch him napping in a hay cottage with his eyes closed.

Aliona (age 1-2) does a lot too but but still a bit jumpy if you move to get a pic! This one’s from her tenth day here, certainly made herself comfortable bless her! So terrified until had some piggy mates around, then completely out of her shell!

Ummm no. First come first serve. He’d be better off with me and the ladies. They don’t have a silver fox to answer their every beck and call. I feel it would be unfair not to get them one too!

Luigi certainly doesn’t answer to his ladies at this house, it’s all about the food these days :roll: my girls deserve a nice, polite one like Christian! :)) :D

He's getting grumpier with me lately. 😂 I weigh him everyday coz I'm putting him on a diet. Last Monday he weighed 1530g! So less veggies now. But he kept on eating whatever is in front of him instead! 🙄 I weighed him the other day and he was down to 1490g..but today he's back to 1530g. 🤦‍♀️ It doesn't really help that loads of grass outside that they can smell so Vegas kept on asking for more. 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️ She's only a baby and she wants to eat more. 😁

Haha meany mummy, how dare you! :)) Wow, 1530g! And I thought Luigi was a big old porker at 1370! Aah Vegas, you’ve definitely got mummy wrapped around your little paws already!:love::))
 
oh my goodness these pictures are melting my heart. my spud sleeps with his eyes closed but no pictures I'm afraid as he will open his eyes at even the slightest movement.
