It looks really fantastic, you should be very pleased with yourself ;)

Wow those look great all we grow is some rhubarb and lettuce. The lettuce seems to have been destroyed though 666)

I've started my own little veg patch, I've got lettuce, salad leafs, lollo rosso, rocket, spring onions, pak choi and raddishs growing well at the mo.

Can I fed my pigs the thinnings of my raddishs?

We grow our own veg (we have two allotments). I can't think of much which we DON'T grow! The piggies love fresh yummy veg.

jealous

i'd love an allotment or 2, at the moment the waiting list is massive and i really don't have the time.

Tips?

I'm growing carrots. Its the first time ive ever grown my own. ATM the pots covered in clingfilm.... its acting sorta like a greenhouse and keeping the slugs off them.

Has anyone got any tips i can steal?

i dont as i live in an apartment :( but i grow herbs on the window sill. i go up to my rents reguarly so scruffy can get outside in his run, and they do so i steal theirs! they have cherry tree and apple tree too so i pinch some things off there too! :)

I am growing broad beans, tomoatoes, potatoes, carrots, strawberries, runner beans, spring onions, raddishes, blackberries, raspberries, blackcurrants and gooseberries. have a couple of apple trees too. But only have a very small veg square behind the greenhouse. Nothing like the lovely pics on here!

I grow quite a lot of it all at work! lol. (the council let us use part of their greenhouses :) ) I get my students to sow them by seed etc. usually more than enough to bring home. I think i'd like to grow more though and at home. It's just finding time!

Hi Mabel,

its not as big an area as it looks on the photos, we haven't got i big back garden. i think its about 10ft by 20ft, plus where the beans are. I'd love to see pick of your crops. my tomatoes are rubbish this year, they've started growing stems from the flower shoots. i have had a single tomato yet.
