That bottom ramp looks really steep - not sure if a piggie would manage it :-\ How many guinea pigs are you planning to keep in it? It doesn't really look like there's a lot of space for guinea pigs to me but maybe if they have lots of floor time.... :-\

Well it's just over 3ft on both levels asewll as that little platform and i am going to get a run for floor time aswell. I am only keeping 2 piggies in there as thats all i'm allowed. It's only cos my floor won't fit the bigger cages :(

I think it would be ok for 2 piggies especially if they get lots of floor time. :)

i have a taller version of that cage for rats and tbh bailey would never be able to cope going up and down those ladders the grip is horrific and far to steep

Hi Rhona seeing as you have the taller one is there any way to be ablle to modify the ramps so there not so steep or i can make my own and add another level :)

the levels can go at different hights but your best bet would be to chuck the levels and ladders and get ferplast corner shelfs and ladders...those are much easier for them to climb :)

Ok thanks, do they sell them on the zooplus site or do you get them from some where else?

Yes, but you can make/adapt ramps to suit guineapigs. I use grids bent over on one side covered with vet bed and they're fine

I cover the sides so they would not fall plus I will cover the ramp in fleece type materail make it easier to climb.
