Calliope is such a diva!:luv:

no, they are not hot... I will get a horrible electricity bill, but I keep my air conditioning on all day long also for my HAIRY piggies! I have no heart (and no skills) for cutting their precious wigs!

Also Calipso's hair, although different in its structure, is very long now

... another style! definitely easier to comb

maybe this is the effect of the grass, their main food! :tu:
(should I start to eat grass, too? I lose a lot of hair!:hmm:)

I love their beautiful hair x

What lovely pair of wigs you have there! Their costs are so glossy. Yes, maybe I will join you on that grass diet, lol :D

I found mats on both Jingle and Mistletoe today. Mat removal was not popular. Nor was nail cutting.

Your two look magnificent with their flowing locks.

Calliope's hair, the layer next to the butt, has often some terrible hidden mats! impossible to comb and necessary to cut... and it is difficult, too, because these mats start just from the skin! absurd...
Calipso's hair has no mats at all, hers is a different hair...
Nail cutting is another bad subject... a very bad one, though!

My son has to help me with nail cutting. Christian is so bad we have to wrap him up tightly in a towel so he looks like a Christian sausage roll with his paw out that needs the nails trimming on. Then we have to unwrap him and pull out the other paw and wrap him up again! This gets repeated until all 4 are done. The back ones are definitely easier than the front as there are no teeth that end! Oh we have to bribe him with food too!

but the problem is that I have FEAR! fear of cutting too much... and my piggies don't be still. The "sausage method" will be my next attempt, I have used all the ones seen on Youtube...

I have bought some toe nail clippers as I find these easy to use and I just take off the very end (the sharp pointy bit) this is more of a problem if the nail is curving to one side as you need to try and straighten it up a bit. Good luck! I'm sure you will be fine!
