Hi all i have noticed that there are a few members on the forum from Coventry and Warwickshire and wondered if anyone would be interested in a regular meet up. I am happy to meet wherever and i am off at weekends or weekdays depending on my shift pattern.

Let me know what you think but it would be great to meet up with some of you xx

anyone else out there? come on it would be good to meet up and have lunch xx

I'm not from warwickshire but Leicester isn't far off so I would be up for it too (as long as I can get there by train cos I don't drive). I work Mon-Thurs at the moment but soon will only be Mon-Weds

I would be up for it but it would depend when, where and times as would need Neil to be about for lifts and/or babysitting the kids. Also will anyone be taking kids at all as demonic toddler can be clingy so not sure how he would be with Neil (though if it isnt to far to get home it should be ok)

I'm sure we could take over a coffee shop or family friendly pub or a park for toddler to come along and play :)

this is graeat, if any of you have preferences of where to meet i would be more than happy to get there. Maybe Rugby somewhere as it has a train station and is not too far from Northampton and Coventry. I am sure Wiebke would like to come and also hellsbells from here and also i could ask Jo who ran the Cheylesmore guinea pig sanctuary.
If you all agree with Rugby then i can ask my husband the best places to meet as he works for Rugby Borough council and knows all the places xx Let me know if you have any other suggestions xx

Rugby is fine with me as takes about an hour and would have to change at nuneaton or birmingham (same as I would for coventry)

excellent. I have face booked Wiebke, Jo and Helen so once i have more idea of who wants to come and where about in Rugby we can go i will start to arrange a date xx

HEY...!
this sounds ace... :(|)
count me in...!
facebook me if you want... search "clare wright wilnecote high"

This is great! Wiebke, Jo and Helen are all intested so just need to look at dates now and how soon, please send date suggestions and I have also asked hubby to think of a meeting place quite central for people coming on public transport.

Thanks for the poke Jo- haven't had any time to get on here recently. I'm busy for the next 3 Saturdays but free most weekends usually, I'm child free on a weekend by prior arrangement with my OH or can do weekdays with two toddlers in tow- looking forward to it :))

I can always pick anyone up from the railway station as it's a bit out of the centre of town.

I would like to come and Rugby is certainly not a problem for me!

How about Saturday 25th of june, if not it will have to be the middle of July for me. I have been to a really nice coffee shop in Rugby town centre but can't remember the name of it, but it won't be a problem finding it out, let me know how many of you can attend this date and we will go from there xx

I can't do that day, as am wedding dress shopping in Chester with my best friend, but I've a few busy weekends over the next couple of months so think I'll just have to come if it happens on a free day.

Hi Everyone, 25th June it is then. The cafe i was talking about is called Summersault and is in the main High Street in Rugby (toward the end of the High Street). the website for any information or directions is: http://www.summersault.ltd.uk/Index.html

Shall we meet at 12pm?

I'd of loved to join you all but bit far for me but I would have made it but can't do that day as got to be back mid afternoon to get ready for friends Greek night party!

That cafe looks really nice too - and looks like it caters for vegans as it mentions vegan choc cake:))

Maybe next time:)

I'd love to have a Birmingham meet up and its been mentioned on the rabbit forum too but nothing has got sorted as yet. I'll have to at some stage start a thread on here and rabbit forum for a lunchtime Sat or Sun meet up (know of a fab Chinese restaurant that does meat/veggie/vegan - would be ideal for a meet up!)

just bumping this up so that the ones interested in coming can see i havenow come up with time, date and place and if its ok with you all xx

oh yay thats fab I'm in with that! Just checked trains etc and its going to cost just £13 return and I can go from my middle of nowhere local station instead of getting the bus into Leicester :)) Cafe looks brilliant (even coming from an avid meat eater)

Lol i am an avid meat eater too, but i have been here before and its really nice inside, very atmospheric so thought it would be a fun place to meet. I do eat most things though so i am sure i will find something great. I hope it is ok to reach from the railway station, apparantly you just need to walk up the hill toward town centre and head to McDonalds you should find it from there, although it may be worth having a word with Furryfriends as she did say she could collect from the station xx

I am really looking forward to meeting you all xx
