i want to get another piggie he doesnt neccessarily have to live with him , just someone for him to play with, would be grateful for any info. So many conflicting opinions its making my head spin.

also i live in bristol so if anyone has any baby boys i could try him with i would appreciate it O0

I have recently introduced a 4 week baby boar to my 6 month old boy. He accepted him immediatly. No problems at all. The older one does some occasional rumble strutting just to let the little one know who's boss I think. I hope they will stay friends when the little one gets a bit older. I also introduced a 4 month old boar and 5 week old boar last year and they got on well from the start and still do.

there are baby boars advertised in my local trade it and id love another one :smitten:

If possible,it is always better to get a piggy from a rescue. There are so many that need loving homes. If you take your boy with you they will try and find a baby boar that he will bond with.

Hi yes ive bonded all my boars up and dont see why they are any different than sows to be honest except they are more relaxed ::)

its your fault iloveanimals showing those cute little boys in your pics ;D

i ve wanted to get another for ages but wasnt sure if mine would bully him

I bonded my 3wk old boar with a 1 year old & they love one another. I've had no probs to date & "baby" is 5.5 months now :smitten: :smitten:

Yes,

I took my eight week old by to Sokels Rescue Centre and paired him up with an eight month old boy they took to each other like a duck to water.

Ahhh bless them thats fab O0

It was really odd though Sokel tried him with three 10 week old babies (one at a time) and Tommy freaked and ran, he's normally very chilled and the hoover doesn't even bother him!

Yet when he put Sparky in he completely chilled out and started eating veggies, which I guess shows the importance of taking them somewhere where they can be paired up together.

think I'm going to go for it , i better get my nice lingerie on tonight to convince my hubby >:D

LOL I would advise that you take him to a rescue centre to be paired up with another pig.

Good luck
