anyone know of a wooden hutch big enough for five, or even generous for 5?

I'm really rubbish at working out the maths on housing Louise is the expert on this but will have a go

I get the dimensions of the larger size to be in feet 4.35ft x 2.69ft

therefore i would say ok for 2 but not big enough for 3 as the size recommended for 3 would be 5ft x 2ft.

For five piggies you will be looking at 7 x 2 i think. Louise (S&T) correct me please if i am wrong. :)
 
thanks lyndsey! i do like that one! we're just looking for when we move, it'd be nice to have them in one big hutch! x
 
it wont be for a year or so yet,just looking for now. we want to move soon as we can and it'd be nice to have a cage like that for them for in the lounge.:(|)
 
I won't put 2/3 in that depending on size of pigs. Remember some may not use the ramps. :)

Pets at Home are bringing a new range out which are 2ft deep. They have gotten rid of the Lavander Lodge which I'm gutted about as I love that hutch! But you may find something there suitable or adaptable if they use a ramp! :)

they have got rid of lavender lodge....nooo oooo ooooo that hutch was brilliant, for pigs or a bun :(
 
hi

hi i have 6 piggies free range in a shed at the moment but found out this year that its too hot for them would i be better off adapting the shed or getting them a hutch for them all to go in during the warmer months?

well,we're looking at a 2bed flat today. it has just four garages underneath (one would be ours!), so you can tell the size. i still want them in our lounge, so a wooden multi-tier hutch would be cool. not sure when though. x
 
yeah,in the same area! just a couple of miles down the road and right by the hospital!
