:D It may be just where the piggie has been scratching himself. Or if he has a cage-mate, perhaps he has been bitten? It s very small and neat, so I don't think it is mites or lice. Is there just the one scab?

Do any hairs look shorter as if they are broken? if so then this could indicate mange mites. Have you seen him biting at his back at all or scratching?

yeah she's been biting and scratching her back a lot but no hair loss, so could be mites, nearest vets appointment I can get is Monday, so having a bit of a panic, I hate when there poorly :(

Monday will be ok, it may just be because the scab is drying out and itchy, but good that you are getting her checked.

just noticed she has white flecks in her fur look a bit like dandruff could this be lice?

No, lice are visible to the naked eye. By Monday, it should be clear what your girl is suffering from, whether it is fungal or mange mites; both can cause dandruff. Please don't treat on spec, as you may it much more difficult for your vet to diagnose and start treatment immediately.
