Anyone know why my piggies have suddenly gone off Timothy hay?

My pigs have piles of meadow hay on the floor of their cage and I put Timothy hay in their hay bag as it's used as more of a treat. I gave them some PAH Timothy the other week and they wouldn't touch it so I brought them a bag of Timothy hay with carrots from the Range. They used to eat this but this week, it has gone untouched. I'm just wondering why this could be as it would seem all 4 pigs have gone off it preferring to eat the meadow? I wouldn't mind but I have 3 bags of various Timothy hay so if they won't eat it from the hay bag (like they have done previously) I'm going to have to use it as bedding and mix it with the meadow :(

Umm, they ate their meadow and rose petals that they had in the hay bag last week but they could have done I guess 🤔 I will mix it up with their meadow hay and see if they eat it that way. Fussy little
 
It’s definitely worth trying it loose on the floor.

I guess this batch may taste different…

My lot refused pet shop meadow hay since I found haybox - I buy both meadow and Timothy from haybox and have done for years now. Previously when I ran out of haybox meadow and grabbed a pet shop hay they flatly refused to touch the pet shop meadow.
I’ve run out of haybox meadow again now (still have plenty of haybox timothy though) and couldn’t fiddle about with my subscription dates so grabbed a large bag of pet shop meadow. Fully expected them to ignore it, but they have gone absolutely mad for it and are preferring it to the haybox timothy all of a sudden.

It wouldn't be the first time I've put the smallest pinch of Readigrass into hay the goblins have refused to eat. They smell the Readigrass and somehow all the hay becomes Readigrass.

They can be very fussy when they want to be (usually after you have stocked up on their favourites) Lol
 
Well, mine are now protesting their botanical hay ... brand new bag, and they loved the last one, but when we opened this one, they objected immediately and until we gave them a different hay. Guess it's out of favor ... bunnies down the street may be getting a bag of hay if they continue to refuse it.
