All but one of ours have short fur, Snow has longish fur on his back end that we trim because it gets a bit yucky.

He was a bit nibbly today :o if I do it at least once a day I can have him deknotted in 5 mins! I have 4 longhaired to contend with

I just have the one Sheltie, Bonnie. She had a bath the other night, the first bath she's ever had, as her back end was wet and smelly, although I keep the bum hair as short as I can without leaving it bare!
