I have ordered some of these - my lot seem to get bored with day in, day out excel - some won't eat science selective and I do put a very limited amount of the museli type ones in for variety- but they have to eat it all - and they do.

These pellets seem very good - but very expensive - it is low calcium and no added sugar so hopefully healthy ?/ I was thinking of putting them in their treat tubes with the top quality hay - just a very small amount as a treat?

I won't be using them as their proper food, but will cut that down to allow for these pellets.

I just hope I haven't wasted my money and they won't touch them mallethead:(|)

yes, I have tried these, as I tried to give a low calcium diet to Caractacus (RIP) when he had bladder problems. They are well accepted by some piggies but not by others. The all time fave seems to be Burgess excel blackcurrent and oregano which I use as a staple.

Yes I use the blackcurrent and oregano Excel but Poppy pig won't eat them at all and the others will leave them in preference to something else rolleyes I think they smell lovely and if I was a piggie I would nom them :))

Well the JR pellets arrived today and they smell lovely to me so I put two pellets each in their bowl.

drool They all loved them - well Lord Bernie will eat anything so he doesn't count but little Poppy (who is very, very fussy) shot out to sniff what was new and ate them straight away :(|)

Thumbs up all round :)

Oh and the special dandelion hay was so well received they never even looked at their normal morning food :))
