Anyone Used Hinckley Vets4pets Leicestershire?

Hi all,

Long shot really but just wondering if anyone had been referred or visited this practice. My vets4pets (which aren't specialists but have several very knowledgeable vets for guinea pigs) have this week mentioned that they generally now refer on to the small animal specialist at the Hinckley branch. I didn't ask anymore questions because its a teeth issue and due to having one op under gas I want Isobel to see Simon to have a conscious dental going forward. However, I'm always one for keeping my eye open for where I might need to visit in the future.

Reading the bio on the webpage the vets name is, Ross Ashley Machin, and he has a lot of experience and is still studying exotics.
 
Holy crap, scrap the question I have met this man before! I'm pretty sure he was the one who stayed at my previous vets for all of 3-4 months. I met him when Bea first had ovarian cysts and renal failure... he was absolutely amazing.

Just found his linkedin page and it lists Best Friends but doesn't specify Leicester or the specific branch I used to use... if it is him then I am very excited to know there is someone with clearly a lot of knowledge and expertise not too far from me
 
Let us know how it goes as it would be very handy to have someone nearby. I can always book one of my boys in for an MOT with him if that would help. I've done it before, just to test out a vet.
