Hi guys

I'm going on holiday and need to organise proper care for my 2 boys

I found this boarder not too far from me but would like to know if anyone in the north east has heard, used or has an opinion on them

http://www.tynepetboarding.co.uk/

Ideally my boys would go to my sisters but she's coming with me

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Both look ok to me but it's a little hard to get an opinion from a website.

I offer guinea, buny and small pet boarding and always encourage people to come and vist before bringing their pets to stay so that they can meet me, view animal accomodation and discuss dietry requirements etc.

Would this be something you could arrange ? - I'm sure it would help put your mind at rest whilst your on your holiday..................

I agree with Teresa. We boarded my 4 girls last summer for the first time and we were allowed to go and visit before making any firm commitments. We saw where the piggies would be staying and asked as many questions we could. My mind was put at ease straight away. I even text the owner a couple of times and she was only to happy to privide updates.

One thing I would encourage you to do is to ask what will happen if your pig(s) become poorly whilst in their care. Kirsty (who runs the boarding business we use) asked us to fill in a sheet per guinea pig which included our vets details. She explained that if one was to become poorly, she would take to our vets if possible and if not, she would use her own vet.

Needless to say, the pigs are booked in to go back this year :)
