Dental Anyone with dental experience?

Have you tried Cheshire Pet in Holmes Chapel?

Yes this is where we will be taking him next. I’ve took many of my sick piggies there and they’ve been great, I didn’t go this time as I wanted him to be be seen asap incase it was something quite serious.

We have a syringe with the end already cut off luckily, which the vet gave to us. The vet said we would need to force feed him but luckily he’s taking it willingly from the syringe, and he’s eating some herbs tonight. As a well piggie he’s normally around 1.2kg, and he’s dropped to 800g(ish), but still acting normally otherwise which is good. Here is a photo of him for anyone wondering who’s behind it all :luv:

He is so beautiful! Hope everything turns out for the best. Hugs xx

Hi all. Just waiting for a call back from the vets, Barry still hasn’t gained any weight and has started to make a loud sound when he breathes. Fingers crossed they can treat him :(

Has he been to have his teeth done? x
Hi! It turns out that the issue may not be his teeth after all. They have been checked with a scope and they seem fine, but he’s going under anaesthetic on Wednesday for an X-ray so they will have a thorough check of them then x

Thank you all. He is booked in again on Wednesday for a X-ray. I’ve been given some recovery food to help him gain weight in the meantime.
