Apple corks?

hi, can piggies eat the whole of an apple including the cork?

Hi yeah they can eat the core of the apple, just take out the pips first though

I leave the apple pips in... the piggies only get them as a treat once or twice a week and only a quarter each but i have had rabbits and guinea pigs that have had an apple a day (not each but between 2 of them) for the whole of their lives and not suffered an ill effect from the pips...

I personally don't feed my piggies much apple because they're acidic, so if they do have some it's only a small peice.

I've heard that feeding too much apple can cause sores around their mouth, so be careful.

i give my piggies apple twice a week one shared between 10 piggies cut up with pips taken out
