I was getting an apple out to eat a few minutes ago and carved off a piece for the pigs. As usual, it's me darting my fingers away before they can misplace their teeth in excitement. Porridge was a bit more friendly and Peppa did a little purr when I scratched her chin (meanwhile Ginny was wheeking at me for more instead of a chin scratch lol). My previous girls, Teddy and Minja rip, also usually tried to bite off my fingers in excitement.

I've had no piggies who don't go crazy for apple. Has anyone had any similiar experiences or completely different? :)

My piggies go bonkers for apple! :)) All my past and present piggies have loved it, but it was Missy's all time favorite! Charlette also seems to have a huge sweet tooth for it, so it has been huge help bonding with her and Marla.

With mine it depends on the type of apple. Granny Smith or Golden Delicious are no nos, Braeburn maybe, Cox's a hit usually!

Calipso LOVES apples, especially the peel. But she starts eating it only after me chomping rudely the same piece as a boor.
Today I offered her a little peel after her manicure...:eek::eek: (actually I should deserve a treat after that labour!)

Mistletoe had a sniff when i offered her some peel today. I put it in front of her and she stared eating. Jingle grabbed her piece and took it under her stick bridge.

Apple and the peel is a much loved treat here with the piggies too but only red apple.

All ours love it and go nuts, it's usually the first thing to disappear from their bowls! :))
Barry gave up eating everything and was being stubborn with his syringe food, mushed up apple kept him alive since that was the only thing he would eat for a couple of days whilst he was having dental treatment, bless him
