Apple Season!

It's here! It's here! My favorite season is getting into full swing! APPLE SEASON! I heard it ... one human told the other human to pick up apples on her way home! Apparently there's a whole "apple tent" open at the lettuce and green bean store now ... She bought two different types! I don't know how many types are in this "apple tent," but it sounds wonderful, and I want to try them all! I'm so ready to get to begging some from them. These humans don't eat nearly as many apples as the people at the shelter ... or at least I don't get apple as often, which must mean they don't have any because I'm an expert begger. I used to be able to beg parts of the old humans lunches off of them because who could refuse a squeaking, hopping, young piggy?
Apparently one of the humans wants to make "apple crisp" ... seems redundant, I mean, any good apple is crisp. Anyways, I am sure I can manage to get some apple bits out of the humans this autumn! I'm excited to try out the different varieties, so I can add the best one to the shopping list!

Apples are great! We had some this morning! Don't know the variety but they were given to our hooman specifically for us! They are small so a neighbouring hooman gave a HUGE bag to our hooman "for the guinea pigs". We have a sneeky suspicion tho that some may get made into apple sauce and not given to us at all! Shocking!

We hope you get lots of yummy apple. Our hooomans just had apples, and shared a little with us.
We think they should have given us the whole apple, and perhaps we would have saved them a little!

Dear Latte

Our Slave has never given us fresh apple but we do get 3 dried apple chunks each for supper every night which are yummy. Maybe we should wheek for fresh apple instead? We did have a blueberry for breakfast this morning yum yum!

Here's hoping for fresh apple very soon.

Apples, we love apples and we hardly ever get apples.
Our slave did share an apple with us but all we got was one teensy weensy piece each while she ate a whole apple and then made apple pancakes with even more apples.

We piggies should really campaign for more apple.

Dad never gives us apples, he says it's a waste because we barely eat them. He also says they taste much better as cider, what's cider? We'd try it but Dad says no. The cider is his.

So ... I was really excited about apple season because I remembered loving apples so much. Well, I'm not sure I actually love apples ... I just didn't like the rescue's other offerings. The food here is so much better that apples are just ... meh now. Green beans! Green beans are where it's at! Lexa says she'll eat my apple for me ... that's okay, I'll take her green beans, and the humans say we can have those all the time, heehee!
