My piggy had a dry apple slice in his dry food about two weeks ago. I kept feeding him his regular veggies but he stopped eating them. This went on for about a week. So I thought really hard and realized that he had apple for the first time so I gave him fresh apple and now that's all he will eat. I know that apples are not that healthy so what should I do? He is 4-5 years old. Thanks!

Hello

Welcoem to the forum.

Will he not eat other veg at all? Cucumber? Celery? Little gem lettuce? Coriander? parsley?

Is he eating his hay?

No. He is not eating anything else. I give him dry food that has pellets, cranberries, bay leaves, hay...ect. I also give him fresh hay and water daily. In the morning I give him cucumber and parsley and at night I give him carrots and cilantro. He use to love this until he got that apple. Now that's all he wants. He won't touch anything else I give him but water.

Does he eat the apple okay? No over chewing etc...?
