Are grass seeds dangerous?

We want to put grass seed down on some of our lawn as it’s patchy. When the grass is dried out so the piggies can go on on the lawn, we won’t put the run over the grass seed but will it harm my piggies if they accidentally eat a grass seed or two? I’m thinking about the grass seeds blowing across the lawn

Some grass seed is pretreated with fertilizer, which would be bad for them to eat, so just make sure it is untreated seed. The seeds themselves won't do them any harm.

yes, you need to buy pre grass seed and not the type that’s been treated. Wilko used to sell plain grass seed in a box which had no treatment.
