milo's in my room he usually goes in to sleep bout 10 and i dont hear nethink from him till the next morning :D

they dont make loads of noise, not as much as hamsters i know that much! but you can hear them walking around and munching lol and if they're drinking you can hear the water bottle x

Mine are kept in the livingroom but I keep all the doors open so my cat's can have free roam of the flat - I very rarely hear the guinea pigs but occasionally I might hear them bickering or drinking from the water bottle but its never enough to keep me up.

They normally go to sleep when I do. Either that or I'm so pooped that I fall asleep regardless of the noise, but as soon as my tv is off and its dark they know its time for bed. There is the odd drink from the water bottle and now again they have a little wheeky arguement thats only lasts after they wheeked about 3 times. Nothing too major. Most of the time they sleep right through the night O0
I was worried when i first got them that i wouldnt sleep coz they'd keep me up, but i hardly ever hear them and when i do i find it quite funny :)

My animal room is at the bottem of the stairs and in there i have two piggies, a bunny and five rats, my bedroom is upstairs and sometimes hear a bit of activity but nothing really loud :)

Guinea Pig noises don't bother me, it's those gerbils girls I have! I have to remove certain things from their tank at night because they insist on chewing everything and going crazy when the lights go off. Right now they are actually sleeping! But my girls usually quiet down and go to bed when I do. Occasionally Remy thinks shes running a marathon so she runs laps in the cage including jumping over Millie, the new baby. As of right now the only noise that they're making is the munching noise of them eating their carrots and hay, I just gave them treats.

But really the pigs won't bother you, or shouldn't. I have had friends stay over that ask what that noise is and I just laugh. I'm so use to them it doesn't bother me.

Good luck! ;)

Can't say they are too noisy, my rabbit Tika is worse! ;D

I live in a astudio flat so I have 5 piggies in the room with me! I cover them over at bedtime with throws and apart from the odd drinky bottle rattle they dont make a sound - I have had 9 in the past and they were all ok too! To be honest hamsters are the worst at night.

Argh tell me about the gerbils! Mine have two platforms in their tank and the highest one, they insist on gnawing on the bars of the roof on the cage all through the night! ;D

Cant tell you about the piggy noises because mine live in the shed :D

when i had pigs in my room dnt now got a bit smelly n messy (in a shed)
they did keep me up for ahile from bar chewing and drinkng but i got used to O0

i have mine in my room and when i go to my bed the g-pigs go to thier bed and i dont hear anything till morning :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

I have 9 in my bedroom, Honkey chews the bars, Harrison popcorns, runs around his cage & wheeks all night long, Mr Bumble likes to rumble and the other 6 are so silent.
I do have nights when I think I will go and sleep on the sofa but then I think oh well Kyle always farts and snores so I soon fall asleep but wake up grumpy.
