Are my girls fat?

Hi all,

My mum wanted to give the girls a cuddle today, she hasnt seen then in a while and when she saw them she said something along the lines of "blooming heck they are fat!" : I admit they look a little podgy so I popped them on the new digital scales I use for weighing the babies and they weigh:

Poppy 1108g
Biter 755g
Herbal 904g
Olive 890g
Clover 986g

They are fed fresh fruit & veg twice daily and have unlimited hay and guinea excel.

Do you think they are tubby? Poppy did get her bum stuck in the door of her house but thats another story ;D ;D

They sound just normal sized. Bless them! How old are they now?

Poppy is 3 years, Biter and Herbal are 2 years, Clover is just under 1 year, Olive is about 6 months. The babies Maia and Ivy are 4-5 weeks and weigh 274g each, Dillon is 9 weeks old and weighs 504g and Violet is 10 weeks (3 weeks pregnant we think) and weighs 445g

Dont worry - my Jeremy is 1.6kg! :o The others are about 1.2kg, 996g etc so your girls sound like they are just a healthy piggy shape. Piggies shouldn't really be skinny anyway.

I wouldn't worry about it - my biggest girl is 1200g (possibly more its been a few weeks since she was last weighed). Chubby piggies are cuter anyway! :smitten:

Seeing how quickly piggies lose weight when they get poorly, I like mine to carry a bit of extra fat just in case

All three of mine are between 1100 and 1200. (fully grown adult pigs, that is) How old are yours?

the girls are 3 years (poppy) 2 years (Herb and Biter) 1 year (clover) and 6 months (olive). I think they look lovely all chubby, my newest female Violet who is about 9 weeks old and pregnant is really skinny and looks like a little rat ;D I've been a bit obsessed with their weight latley especially the babies, weighing them everyday and my dad has actually hidden my scales and said i can weigh them once a week and thats it : :
