This morning and last night I have noticed that my 2 boy pigs are not really eating very much. Normally when I put veg and grass into their cage in the morning they go mental eating it and chasing each other for it but this morning they really didnt seem interested at all, they had a little bit but didnt seem overly bothered. It was only pepper which normally they absolutely love and it was deffinately fresh and clean. Also I put in a load of fresh new hay last night and this morning it was barely touched when normally most of it would have been munched by the morning.

I am a little bit concerned about them as you can probably understand.

We did dog sit this weekend but while the dog was here they boys were upstairs so didn't even know there was a monster in the house. Maybe now that they are back downstairs they can smell him and its making them nervous? I don't know. What do you think?

Have you weighed them to check if their weight is ok? Piggie can mask illness very well, often the first sign is weight loss. Is there still fresh poo and wee in the cage?

Edit- Just noticed you have posted this in behaviour also, you have had several replies from forum members in there.

Definitely check their weight and their bowel movements. However, it could be something as simple as boredom. Piggies do get bored with their food quite easily so if you've been feeding them the same thing quite a lot, they could simply be bored.

There are a lot of reasons for piggies to go off their food and some are quite serious. It could be anything from teeth issues (overgrown teeth mean it's uncomfortable for them to eat), a sign of this could be excessive drinking. There could be a whole host of other reasons so it's safest to get them to their vet.

Fingers crossed and I hope this helps
